Steve, Becky and Paddy the dog extend a warm welcome to our Dartmoor home. We are a small run family business and our objective quite simply is to provide everything necessary for you to have a relaxing stay away from the hubbub of everyday life. We will do everything possible to make sure you leave completely chilled and take away nothing but great memories.

WELCOME TO OUR HOME
OUR HISTORY
Tawburn House was built in the late 1800's and is a home full of character situated in the heart of Sticklepath. The house has recently undergone a complete renovation where its Victorian charm has been combined with a new contemporary feel. It opened as a Boutique B & B in July 2020.
OUR ROOMS
Whether you are a keen outdoor enthusiast or just looking for a relaxing break Steve and Becky have placed the emphasis on a touch of luxury at affordable prices. All of the bedrooms are light and modern and come equipped with everything you will need to make your stay perfect. HOT TUB & SAUNA
Guest facilities also include a hot tub and sauna set in a contemporary garden so make sure you bring your swimming gear.
OUR BREAKFAST
Breakfast is served in our modern scandi style kitchen which opens on to a beautiful patio where you can enjoy breakfast on the warmer days.

DOGS WELCOME
We recognise that Dartmoor is also a special place for our canine friends so dogs are most welcome although we can only allow a maximum of two per room. Please let us know when booking if you will be bringing along a four legged companion.
OUR VILLAGE
The picturesque village of Sticklepath is situated within the Dartmoor National Park. Tawburn has direct access to woodland walks that wind their way up on to the high moor. The Village is a 5 minute drive from the A30 and connections to Devon & Cornwall.

PADDY
Paddy, our border terrier, will most surely give you a warm welcome when you arrive. He is definitely front of house.
STEVE
After a career in Corporate Banking Steve retired in 2018 and in 2019 embarked on a global cycle adventure.
BECKY
Becky has worked in Devon as a teacher for many years. Tawburn House is now her home and passion.
MUFFIN
Muffin comes and goes as she pleases but will be sure to give you a cuddle if you love cats.
